Steve Crevier finished 3rd in round 1 of the Canadian Superbike Series on a basically stock 1125r, with street tires.

The exhaust was not stock, bt it dyno'd at 134 RWHP which is about the same as stock.  Fantastic effort.

wish they hadnt designed the scoops on the sides the way they did, they look out of place with the rest of the bike. apart from that, it would probably make my wish list for my next bike

A lot of ppl have made similar comments about the scoops
I think its a love or hate thing
I`m interested to see what evolves from upcoming models & the aftermarket industry
Certainly has the potential to become a nicer looking bike

They are basically only radiator covers.  People may find that if you rip them off off, or cover them with knitted tea cosies they will look perfectly mainstream.  Personally I like them more each time I see the bikes.  I saw three in action today.

It does look better in the flesh.

Beside an XB the 1125 makes the XB look like a kids bike.
