So what do you think of the new Buell? I think I like the naked version better than the R

I was waiting for this to happen
Yes I like it better than the 1125R
Although those big scoops still look out of place question
This looks to be based on the Firebolt....................I`d love to see a Lightning version.......................with a lot lower profile scoops...............or none at all

It's basically a 1125r with different bars and headlight! Ergo's are laid over like the r, check out the overhead view of the bars! Horrendus!! Also they have stuffed the geometry of the SS by running the taller suspension as found on the TT model, including muffler. I had both the SS and TT and i can tel you as far as handling goe's there worlds apart! The taller mods make it push wide, a real pig! i ended up lowering mine back to SS height, and now it handels like a Buell! The US gets the old 08 SS, now called the scg12!! what a shame we won't se it here!!! No way would i buy an 09SS and think it will handle!! I'm seriously thinking going back to a Monster or Guzzi, with good re-sale!  cry

Interesting comments Sprocket
I have never ridden an STT but have heard rave reports about near perfect suspension
Even Erik Buell called it the best handling Buell he has released
I did hear you changed your suspension out to the SS suspension

I`m not sure what make my next bike will be
But you can be sure it WILL be a V Twin exclamation exclamation exclamation
