G'day fellow sucm & vermin! CAUTION NOT DIAL UP FRIENDLY
Hey All...
My name is Barry or BigBadBaz to my biker friends... I found ya site while cruisin' the www last night and since I'm Aussie and my ride is a V-Twin, I figured I'd drop in and say hi, have a sticky beek around and share a few pics with ya...
Firstly a big 'Shout Out' to those behind the site and creating a meeting place for riders with a few puter skills to meet, share info and chat about our passion for bikes... Well done... I know how hard it is and how much time and effort you pour into it and keeping it free for the members is nice to see... Bit more on this shortly...
How about I shut up and you check out my pics... (Apologies as some exceed you recommended size... but the message board they were hosted for does an automatic resize on them)
Enjoy..!
This is me...
My lovely wife Crisna & I
This is my ride...
The early days... before I went Mod Mad... De-beavered, drilled exhaust, mirrors & grips...
Pics taken at Lake Macquarie about 45min from home...
Now 12 months later... After some very serious $$$ invested...
Pics taken 100m from my back door... One of my favourite spots...
Great place to relax and go fishing... And my favourite toy...
OK... some more boring stuff... I been riding since I was about 15 and had a bunch of bikes... Jumped off a Busa about 13 months ago onto this beast of a bike... I've never been much into modding my rides but I've gone totally spastic as you can see... To quote a line from an old favourite movie 'Pretty Woman'... "I want to spend an obscene amount of money..!" Well I've done just that... and not all of it on bling, bells & whistles either... I'm cranking out close to 130HP @ rear wheel... about 30HP over a standard 109... PCIII - Air Pods with K&N Filters - Full Custom Foran 2:1 exhaust system... all Dyno Tuned and custom fuel map by RC Motorcycle Tuning in Moorebank... This thing pulls like a freight train and is a buzz to ride..!
I got to know a few other 109 owners in the 12 months I've owned mine...
Then I met a few more...
OK... about now I guess it's about time I come clean and fess up...
I actually know a HEAP of 109 owner/riders...
This is about where the "More on that shortly" comes into the picture... I own the "Aussie M109Riders Group" forum and website...
The forum is a closed forum and membership is by invite only... although there is a US m109riders forum which we used to belong to till they got a bit nasty towards one of our mates and booted him... so we bailed out and I started an Aussie only forum
We've got members from all over Oz and have big rides we call "State Of Origin" which is where many of these pics are from...
So if you see a small group or a HUGE big bunch of 109's out riding... They would most likely be members of the Aussie M109Riders Group...
If you know any 9 owners that might like to join up... Then shoot me a PM here or send me an email to;
and I'll take care of them... Oh and it's all free... Just like here... We are happy to share our knowledge, meet new owners and ride together...
OK... enuf from me I guess... thanks again for a great site and keep up the good work...
Merry Christmas, a Happy & Safe New Year to one and all...
Ride Safe... Shiney Side Up & Filthy Side Down...

good intro and thanks for sharing. i kinda thought that those things put out more than 130hp. was surprised to hear that as i know they haul. what is the torque on those puppies? just trying to figure power to weight, as i konw my next twin is going to punching 150hp with a nice 112 nms. all at a svelt 170kgs!
