Front plates & how to make them go away.I took this from Two Wheels magazine.
To stop this bullshit about introducing front number plates we all need to do something & they reckon the best way is to email/post the following letter to the appropriate authorities.
I disagree with the proposed introduction of frontal identification for motorcycles as a road safety measure.
What evidence based research exists for a road safety benefit from the introduction of frontal identification for motorcycles?
How do you propose I fit frontal identification to my <insert the make, model and year of your motorcycle here>?
Were I to fit frontal identification to the motorcycle(s) listed above according to your advice, what would be the impact on airflow, turbulence and engine cooling?
What are the implications of fitting, frontal identification to my <insert the make, model and year of your motorcycle here> on my manufacturer's warranty?
What provision for fitment will you offer me and what indemnity will you offer me against any deleterious effects of fitting frontal identification to the motorcycle(s) listed above?
Signature, address etc
Email your questions (copy & paste) to the transport ministers from your State/Territory and from the Commonwealth. If enough of us ask the right questions, then the answers will be what we want to hear.

There is just no where to fit one on a Firelbolt. Along the fork legs maybe. My front mudguard is completely under my fairing. There was a time where we had stick on number plates on fairings, but then one of these would cover my headlights.

What happened to the online petition?
Here in NZ we are being urged to support the stand you aussies are taking against the damn things.
Cos if it happens in OZ you can bet they will try it on here...
