it was with a sad heart that i listened to Mr Buell ...

i feel very sorry for the guy...
it must have been the hardest thing he has ever done...

but to front up and personal tell us... wow!

so we all have a peice of Motor cycling history.... even MORE reason NOT to sell

have just been talk to BB... between the two of us we own 3 generations of Buell

the tuber (Buellbabe's)
the XB ( Aj's)
the 1125 (our's)

we are going to get them together for a photo shoot....

I feel very sad for Erik Buell, he seems like such a genuine guy and he must be gutted by HD's decision.
I'm sure he will get through this with dignity and I know he will have a lot of support from all us Buell owners and I wish him well.

I feel gutshot, but it's not the first time the folks at H-D totally pissed me off...
Several years ago I took my Harley "Oakleaf" Patch off my riding vest and sewed
it back on upside down in protest and as a sign I felt the factory was in distress...

I can only hope that somehow, some way, Erik finds a way to continue what he's
worked so hard for over the last 25 or so years, but the scuttlebutt I've seen around
the web doesn't sound too promising.

I am so glad I have 2 of the same model,
so I can keep at least one of em running damn near forever....

RIGHT... somehow I doubt Harley are just packing it in, as they are doing the same with MV, I'd say someone will buy the names and we will see Buell back, hell it happens all the time with small companys and bikes. Buell have done to well over the recent years for it to simply fold, however if I am right then you guys will have a very special bike be it a tuber, fueller or austrean thing (want me one of them and replicate Rashika's paint)

PS: my missus was very upset at the vid to, and after the REGO bullshit she was about to give up... but I WOF'd and Rego'd the bolt to day for her, so I think she will changer her mind.

But thems the breaks when you sell your soul to the devil.

He got his dream bike (the 1125) but it cost him his company.

jeez watching that vid made me a bit teary cos you could see that he was barely keeping it together.

I have ALWAYS been loyal to HD but not any more. They have lost my support.

There's no such thing as loyalty in this world any more. Everything is about money and business decisions. I learned that the hard way and I see Erik has also learned. "The board has decided that it's not in our best interests...".
