If 90 degrees is a right angle ...

Things are a bit quiet aren't they so I thought we needed something a bit provocative.

According to all the maths books I know of, 90 degrees is a "right angle" and it would logically follow that all other angles are "not right" or more simply, "wrong".  Now I am not an old testament scholar but I am sure there has to be some biblical support for this assertion.

This has nothing to do with me riding an SV650 whatsoever.

I`m into Twins of all types
But must admit to only have owned 45 degree V Twins

Used to have a 1200 Sporty that had a square motor

It's a right angle because that was the only one they could get right.  Didn't mean it was the best. eye roll

pissing myself

The Lord said "I will set a plumbline amongst my people",(Amos 7:9) and therefore the 45 is "upright before the Lord" because the angle is equidistant from perpendicular, whereas the 90's are positioned improperly, because the cylinders are neither equidistant from perpendicular nor are they set perpendicular to level, so even if they are "right", they "come as a wolf in sheep' clothing" to decieve those who are easily swayed by deception.

ok... so what you are saying is...

that this morning when i got up early to watch the moto GP, and found that tennis was on... that is NOT a right angle...

it was in-fact a poor angle of my choice, to believe  un-equivalently in what i had read, to the detrimental of all those around me who had to go through the temper tantrums, the eye gouging and false god proclamations, of a way wood sheep shaggier from the south?

The Chinese also knew this theorem. It is attributed to Tschou-Gun who lived in 1100 BC. He knew the characteristics of the right angle.

I don't read ancient chinese but I am sure the characteristics "The Gun" wrote about included "good torque, power and a nice note".

I wonder where the moto gp was held in 1100 BC?

I believe we even have prophetic motorcycle utterances describing:

- 90 degree V-Twin
- BMW "to the pair in the opposite angle"
- One could attribute many interpretations to the "downward inclination of the head"
- "Heads ... thrown upwards in fiery impatience" - now what could that be a reference to?

"Helios is represented emerging in his chariot from the waves. It has been noted by Michaelis that the angle in which this figure was placed is the darkest spot in the eastern pediment, and that it is only fully illuminated at the moment of sunrise. The right angle of the pediment belongs to the car of the goddess of the night . . . the horse a marked contrast in motive to the pair in the opposite angle. The heads of the horses of Helios are thrown upwards with fiery impatience as they spring from the waves; the downward inclination of the head here described, ..."

Nostradamus doesn't hold a candle to this stuff.
