Micron Cease TradingI hope nobody here is waiting on a Micron as apparently they've called in the receivers ?
Looks like nobody knows exactly whats happening for sure but as of yesterday they're not answering the phone!

Lucky I don't have any on order at the moment. Bad news. They are the best system.
I wonder if this is a knock on effect from not being able to remap the '08 ECMs. Many Microns here have been sold new with the bikes. From the '08 here and abroad that just hasn't been happening.
I was getting ready to try to do baffle inserts for them, but the people I am dealing with for the Drummer inserts are unlikely to see this as commercially viable now.
I'm cactus. How many times can you park in state police HQ with a system that sets off cars alarms every morning? F||CK . It's not the sound pressure that does it of course. It is the harmonics from the low resonance setting off ultasonic detectors. Try explaining that to those who protect us when they are writing out the EPA slip. BUM

I just found this in Visordown:
MICRON the well-known exhaust manufacturer has ceased trading as of 10am yesterday (Thursday 10th July).
The Micron team of over 20 staff - of which some have been working for the company for 20 eyars - have been laid off with as yet no offer of pay.
It is thought that Micron's parent company will concentrate on the automotive side of the business, which accounts for around 85% of its turnover, making exhausts for car brands such as Aston Martin.
