Apologies first, no pics, bloody camera went on the fritz cry

Anyway, was scheduled to have 3 days off, but at the last minute ended up with 2 extra days, very happy  so left here at about 6:30 am Sunday, and hooned from here up the West side of the Cascades, past Crater Lake, and around the Diamond Lake Junction, then over the mountains to the East side. From there I blasted up to a town called Bend, and hung a left and headed back over the mountains through the Three Sisters Wilderness, with 3 large snow covered mountains,( the Sisters) and caught up with a HOG chapter out on a ride in the town of Sisters. Rode with them for about 60 miles past a bunch of gorgeous scenery, till I couldn't handle it any more, (65 mph was not enough).
After that I had to blow the carbon out, so took a couple of back roads I know to catch up to a few I didn't, and found one that was a thin black line on the map that was a biker's dream, banked corners ranging from 3rd to 5th gear, no straights to speak of, ferns growing right over the road shoulders cool, and ended up at the coast, where my son was at his Scout Summer Camp. All in all about 425 miles, with only food and fuel stops, since my camera was dead.
Stayed at Camp till Thursday morning, packed up my stuff and hit the road about 10, and headed South on the 101, had a ball after I got out of the tourist towns and traffic (Independence Day Holiday)
Had a guy on a Harley try to keep up for a couple of miles, but the corners were way too much for him, very happy  and I got tired of waiting for him, so opened up to about 100 mph for a few miles, and never saw him again....
So had a great ride both ways, and to top it all off, I got 55 miles per gallon at 75 mph (average) cool
Back to work today, with holiday pay...
