I'll be keeping mine for a good while yet.
I just need all the black bits off the 09 Ss.
Love that black.

I don't dislike the thing, i just think it's a bit half arsed! surely they could have given it its own back end! I know world pollution is pushing for greener vechles, and the old air cooled Harley donk just doesn't cut it with the EPA!, or should i say is getting harder and harder each year! But by changing the SS, this slowly weens people to the new CR! eventually discontinuing the XB. I guess this is fair enough, as nothing can be the same forever! But i think Buells unique quirkiness, which led me to purchase one, has been lost to the mass produced Japanese type style of motorcycle!

Buell must have loved the controversy with the scoops. They have gone one up with this. This shows the scoops up even more, making sure that this bike will feature in coffee table art magazines for decades to come.

hear hear - I saw a photo shopped one where the scoops looked okay, so it was possible to do. The CR is begging for a full fairing, maybe that's next year????

The scoops are just plain wrong, particularly on the naked model, which is the one I'd look at, if it didnt have them. such great potential to be spoiled by such an awful look. I mean, setting out to be different is good, but at some point there is a line between different and tasteful that not only got crossed here, it got trampled on and messed up and totally lost. I mean, the air cooled buells look so cool. wtf has happened here?

I was at Peter Stevens in the city this arvo and made a point of checking out the buells, and those scoops still look bad. The sports bike gets away with it a little, but still not nice. pity, the rest of it looks cool. love the zorst
