You know what really pisses me off? |
|
I'd be interested in whether anyone else finds this annoying.
...when I park my bike in the city, and find, at the end of the day, that some twat has parked his bike/scooter so close that I can't get to the left-hand side to get on.
Makes me feel like kicking the other bike over. The worst I've done, is push past so that their mirror does a 360, hoping that they'll get the message, but I can't understand the lack of thought behind it.

The worst I've seen was a guy in Brisbane who'd pulled up at some bike parking in Brisbane... no spare slots, so what did he do...? He got off his bike, picked up on of the bikes that was already parked there by its front wheel, moved that across, then did the same to the back wheel to make room for his bike (He did this as I was walking past)... I couldn't believe it, I mean, that's just fricking rude...
And yes, it also shits me when I can't get to the left side of my bike...

I also hate when ppl park up close to the right hand side
I had someone parked so close to my right side that I could not straighten the bike up off the side stand
I had to wheel it forward leaned over to the left to clear the nudger's bike

Or when car/van/truck etc drivers decide you don't need to be left 1 metre clearance when they park in front or behind of you.

When I am being tailgated I turn around and look at the idiot behind me whilst riding.
They usually back off real quick.

No shoulders on the roads I ride. Mostly heavy vehicles (road trains) full of excrement producing cows/bulls/steers. The smell certainly clears the line at the servo when you go to pay for fuel!

Me too. I reckon you're better off having the w8nker in front of you so you can keep an eye on them...

It settles them down as well. I hope it makes them think before they do it again
